Different types, different characteristics of different ferrite permanent magnet material (Ferrite)

Ferrite magnet are sintered permanent magnetic materials, composed of barium and strontium iron body, this kind of magnetic material in addition to a strong anti-demagnetization performance, there are advantages of low cost. The ferrite magnet are rigid and brittle and require special machining processes. The magnetic energy product ranges from 1.1MGOe to 4.0MGOe. Due to the low cost, ferrite magnet have a wide range of applications, from motors, speakers to toys, handicrafts, and thus is currently the most widely used permanent magnet materials.

1. NdFeB magnets, which are currently found to have the highest commercial properties of magnets, are known as magnetic king, have a very high magnetic properties of its maximum magnetic energy product (BHmax) higher than ferrite (Ferrite) more than 10 times. Its own mechanical processing performance is also quite good. Operating temperature up to 200 degrees Celsius. And its texture hard, stable performance, a very good price, so its application is extremely extensive. But because of its strong chemical activity, it must be its surface coating treatment. (Such as plating Zn, Ni, electrophoresis, passivation, etc.).

2. Ferrite magnet, which include BaFe12O19 and SrFe12O19. Made of ceramic technology, the texture is relatively hard, is a brittle material, because the ferrite magnet have good temperature resistance, low price, moderate performance, has become the most widely used permanent magnet.

3. Aluminum-nickel-cobalt magnet is an alloy of aluminum, nickel, cobalt, iron and other trace metal elements. The casting process can be processed to produce different sizes and shapes, and the workability is excellent. Cast aluminum nickel cobalt permanent magnet has a minimum reversible temperature coefficient, the working temperature can be as high as 600 degrees Celsius. Alnico permanent magnet products are widely used in a variety of instrumentation and other applications.

4. SmCo (SmCo), according to the different components are divided into SmCo5 and Sm2Co17. Due to the high cost of its materials and its development is limited. SmCo (SmCo) as a rare earth permanent magnet, not only has a high energy product (14-28MGOe), reliable coercivity and good temperature characteristics. Compared with NdFeB magnets, samarium cobalt magnets are more suitable for working in high temperature environments
